How resilient are you right now?

Resilience isn’t simply about how well we cope when life gets difficult.

It is influenced by many different parts of our lives, from our health, sleep and lifestyle choices to our confidence, focus, adaptability, relationships and sense of purpose. It is also affected by the circumstances and demands we are navigating at any given time.

Your Resilience Reset gives you an opportunity to pause and look at the whole picture.

Using the Personal Resilience Indicator (PRI) and an interactive sailboat metaphor, you’ll explore the different factors influencing your resilience, discover your own resilience profile and identify a few practical adjustments that could make a meaningful difference.

You are the captain of your boat.

Imagine your life as a journey on a sailboat. You are the captain and how you are sailing through life represents your resilience.

Your boat has different parts, each representing one of the 6 drivers of resilience. Your health forms one part of the boat, for example, while other parts represent areas such as, purpose, composure and relationships.

During the workshop, I will guide you through understanding each part of your resilience sailboat.

For every driver, you’ll choose from four images representing how that part of your boat feels to you today.

There is no right or wrong answer.

We will also consider the weather and water conditions around your boat because resilience isn’t only about what is happening within us. Our environment, responsibilities, relationships and unexpected events all influence the conditions we are navigating.

Once we have explored all 6 drivers, you’ll bring the different pieces together and create your own resilience sailboat.

Only then will we look at your PRI results.

Many participants describe it as:

“A mirror that shows me what I already sensed, but could not clearly see.”

Your personal resilience indicator assessment

The Personal Resilience Indicator (PRI) provides a snapshot of 12 factors that contribute to personal resilience.

You will complete the confidential online assessment before the workshop.

During our time together, you will receive your individual results and have an opportunity to compare them with the resilience sailboat you created.

You might find that the two pictures are very similar. You might discover something you hadn’t noticed. Both can be valuable.

The purpose isn’t to give yourself another score to improve. It is to become more aware of the resources you already have and where a little more attention or support might make life easier to navigate.

What Past Participants Say

Thanks to the PRI assessment and beautiful debrief from Annette, I have a better understanding of my weak points and where to focus my energy and attention to build my resilience.By nature, I am a visual and kinaesthetic learner. I found Annette’s analogy of a sailboat navigating through all types of weather and water conditions to be amazing. It gave me a better understanding of what resilience means and how to navigate it. – Cédric (23)

I’ve always been somewhat skeptical about personal assessments and psychological tests. However, I decided to try the PRI assessment together with Annette—and it turned out to be an excellent decision. The assessment proved to be a valuable starting point for self-reflection and deeper conversation. It helped uncover different facets of myself and gave me a much clearer sense of what areas I needed to explore further.

Building on the insights from the PRI assessment, I began one-to-one sessions with Annette. These sessions have truly been transformative. Annette has an extraordinary ability to identify exactly which tools are needed and how to apply them in a practical, meaningful way. – Michael (48)

About Annette

Resilience Specialist · Master Sophrologist · Coach · Educator

I have worked with resilience, stress management and wellbeing for many years across organisations, universities, schools and individual coaching.

My approach brings together evidence-informed resilience assessment with practical mind-body techniques that help people understand themselves more deeply and translate insight into everyday action.

I don’t believe resilience is about becoming tougher or simply learning to cope with more. It is about understanding your resources, recognising the conditions you are navigating and knowing how to support yourself as those conditions change.
