Your Words Hold Power – Are You Using Them to Lift Others Up?

Language shapes our reality—and the reality of those around us. The words we choose can inspire confidence, foster connection, and uplift others, or they can undermine self-esteem, create misunderstandings, and discourage growth.

Whether in personal relationships, at work, or with your children, conscious communication allows you to be heard, understood, and respected while also supporting and empowering those you interact with.

This interactive workshop will guide you through the science of subconscious language processing, the impact of high-energy vs. low-energy words, and how Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques can help you communicate with clarity, empathy, and influence.

What You’ll Learn

  • How the Subconscious Mind Interprets Language – Understand how low-energy vs. high-energy words affect mood, self-talk, and belief systems.
  • The Science of Self-Talk & Inner Critic Control – A powerful exercise to tame negative self-talk and shift towards self-empowerment.
  • Speaking So the Mind Listens – How to use words effectively so that your message resonates with others.
  • Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) for Effective Communication – Learn mirroring techniques to align with how others listen and learn.
  • Being Heard & Understood – Adapt your language to connect deeply with others in conversations, parenting, and professional settings.
  • Reset Techniques for Daily Life – Simple tools to rewire negative communication patterns and reinforce positive dialogue.

Why Conscious Communication Matters

Did you know? The subconscious mind processes language differently than we expect. Many of the words we habitually use can lower our energy, reduce confidence, and limit our success.

Dr. Yvonne Oswald, author of Every Word Has Power, states:

“Words can heal, inspire, and uplift—or they can damage, deflate, and demotivate. Learning to use high-energy language can change lives.”

Additionally, the IKEA bullying experiment powerfully demonstrates how repeated negative words impact well-being. We’ll explore this in the workshop. Watch the video here.

By becoming aware of your self-talk, choice of words, and how to communicate effectively, you can create positive change in both your personal and professional life.
